The year 2009 is quite memorable for Xbox 360 fans because of its game releases. Among the highly rated are UFC 2009 Undisputed, Resident Evil 5, and Call of Duty: World at War.
Xbox 360 games review - UFC 2009 Undisputed
You have to work your way through being a UFC champion. In UFC 2009 Undisputed, training and sparring are part of the career mode, which is a good way to learn the fighting techniques in this video game. The Classic Fights option is the way to go if you want to get face-to-face with BJ Penn and Forrest Griffin, among other UFC players. The game has received positive reviews for its exceptional gameplay, with the availability of different moves, grapples, and combination. The animation is quite impressive as well.
Best Xbox 360 games review - Resident Evil 5
Resident Evil 5 is not a disappointment at all. With its new character, setting, and mission, the legacy for action-packed shooter adventure lives on. The only trouble cited by reviewers is the control system. Other than that, many claim that RE5 has impressive graphics and sound effects.
Microsoft Xbox 360 game review - Call of Duty: World at War
Relive the World War history with Call of Duty: World at War. This first-person shooter game features the Pacific and Eastern Front theatres during World War II. The story is told by Marine Raider Private Miller and Red Army soldier Private Dimitri Petrenko. The game is developed with game modes and a leveling system for players to earn additional weapons and rewards as they move along. The fifth installment in the Call of Duty series is definitely an improvement.
These Xbox 360 games garnered positive reviews for their impressive animation, sound effects, and series of challenges that make role-playing truly exciting and almost real.

Xbox 360 is known for its action adventure games that easily come to life because of its amazing graphics, engaging storyline, and moving sound effects. Here are some of the best:
Xbox 360 action game: Dragon Age: Origins
Dragon Age: Origins was a recent release by Bioware's Edmonton Studio for Xbox 360 in November of 2009. The main theme of this role-playing game is lust, violence, and betrayal--creating a moving storyline for intense game action. There are six origin stories in this game (Human Noble, Human/Elf Mage, Dalish Elf, City Elf, Dwarf Commoner, and Dwarf Noble). The chosen character or origin story will determine the role you will play in this "dark fantasy tale."
RPG Xbox 360 game: Borderlands
Borderlands is a sci-fi first-person shooter game. The role-playing game by Gearbox Software is not exclusively developed for Xbox 360 games, but also for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 3. Common among RPGs, there's also character-building in Borderlands. The player gets to choose from any of the four characters (Soldier, Hunter, Siren, and Beserker). Each player has a special skill using a specific weapon. As they go on a quest, they gain experience and skills.
Microsoft Xbox 360 game: Left 4 Dead 2
Left 4 Dead 2 is a sequel to Left 4 Dead by Valve Corporation. The first-person shooter game focuses on cooperative gameplay. The game has five campaigns that come with four to five small maps. The goal is to get to a safehouse before the survivors are rescued in the final stage.
These Xbox 360 games are rated favorably by gamers for their ability to present an action-packed game in a fast-pace sequence and series of challenges.

I watched the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany with my Korean friend. I'm not really a football fan but I decided to go to Gemany because I want to see David Beckham play. My Korean friend, on the other hand, is crazy about football since Korea won Fourth place last 2002 FIFA World Cup. I came to like Beckham because of Posh Spice or Victoria Beckham of the Spice Girls. My other friend told me that there's no need to go to Germany to see Beckham play. The Xbox games had created in 2002, David Beckham Soccer game.

I'm not really an Xbox fanatic, but I like to play Xbox during my free time. Most of the Xbox games I played are all recommended by my friends since I don't know (according to them) how to choose high-packed action Xbox games. They told me that my Xbox vocobulary is limited to Mario Brothers only. They're the ones who recommended that I try David Beckham Soccer because the graphics are good and has a training mode with Beckham. This Xbox game will take virtual and international football to the next level.

My friends told me that there are many exciting features of this game. For one, it has a season mode that enables the players to pick out what competition they will be playing. They can play under the Domestic League and European Cup. The players have a chance to train with David Beckham using the training mode. They can learn how to kick, smash enemies, and shoot for the goal with Beckham. The game also has a builder for stadium that allows the players to design their own arena. With these cool features, I will just stay at the house and play my David Beckham Xbox game.

I was browsing the internet the other day looking for some new games that I could lay my greedy hands on. I usually go for role playing games. Needless to say, I was looking for such when I was browsing the vast world of the internet. Of course, I visited several sites offering previews for Xbox games. On one of those searches, I found Elveon. Judging on the images and some screenshots that I saw, I found the game to be really impressive. And when I say it's impressive, trust me, it is!
I paricularly liked a shot where there was this male elf holding a staff. The shot was not much of a close-up. However, the resolution of the image really caught my eye. That's saying much since I am a myopic person. For those who are not familiar with the term, I am near-sighted. Despite my eye condition, I was still able to clearly see what the show was about. That's an added bonus for me since I do not have to wear glasses or lenses when I am playing on my Xbox.
Another thing that I found interesting for the Elveon game is that it reminded me of one of my favorite PC games. Can you guess what it is? It's the Neverwinter Nights series. Both gameplays tackle about some elves in their stories. However, I believe that Elveon does have a better storyline. It actually took quite some two years to produce a story for the fantasy role playing game. Imagine, 2 years jsut for a storyline! I bet this is going to be a pretty awesome game. I can't wait for 2007 to come. Why? That's when the said game is expected to be released.

Over G Fighters is the latest battle-over-the-air Xbox console game by Taito that will be released sometime next week. The game allows users to manipulate over thirty of the planet's superb jet fighters. The game is placed in the new era where the Earth is in the process of becoming a single world state. You play as a corp of the Energy Air Force whose purpose is to stop militant groups from destabilizing the administration of the current leader.
There are levels for beginners and experts in the game with different modes like the Xbox Live play, story-driven scenario mode, and the challenge mode. The good thing about this new game is that it has a tutorial mode where you can learn various special moves that will help you battle enemy aircraft and helicopters. The key to win this game is by picking the perfect jet fighter with the perfect ammunition and flying maneuvers. The graphic is quite lousy because all you'll see in the entire game are explosions of aircrafts, smokes, and smogs in the blue skies. Aside from that, playing it is quite hard due to the control options that you have to learn. Thankfully, the digital sound and special audio effects are good enough to save the whole game from disgrace.

Xbox console games are similar to a universe where anything that lives in our wild imagination can exist. Alien insects, animal-human hybrids, trolls, fairies, blobs, wizards, witches and ugly Orcs are the few characters in these games that we sometimes see in our dreams. I don't know how game spinners are able to extract characters of our imaginations and place them in a box where they can kill or lead each other.
Speaking of wizards and Orcs, never say that only The Lord of The Rings games have the right to have such fantasy characters. We got a new game that is soon to be released named "Two Worlds", where the plot deals with the war between magic people and monsters Orcs. Anyway, this fantasy game takes gamers in the location where two races have a raging war about supremacy in an ancient temple.
This new action adventure game is filled with superb graphics like green forests, realistic villages, and a collection of unlikely enemies. I think you'll love this game because you are given the freedom to become evil or good. Once you choose a guild, that does not mean you cannot switch to another when you feel that you're being defeated. This idea enhances a gamer's mentality because he alone creates his own ending of the story.

Eight bit games are not as bad as you think, Super Mario, Street Fighter, Pac-Man, and Mortal Combat started their careers in 8 bits. But now that we have Xboxes and PlayStation game consoles, playing a family computer game is like an old joke. Anyway, it's a good thing that just like songs and movies, games are also being revived so that new generation of gamers can enjoy what senior citizens have experienced before.
Galaxian is among the 8 bit games that was revived to make waves in the new crowd of the gaming market. But since we're in the Y generation, everything about the game was improved and changed including its name. Ladies, and gentlemen, and dinosaurs... let's all give a round of applause to Galaga. It is a space shooting game where gamers control a space fighter at the screen's bottom part while nasty, pesky, alien insects come down with a sweeping rush and shoot you from above. The gameplay is very simple, kill the crowd of insects and their big boss (which resides in the upper middle corner of the screen), and other bigger cockroaches as you advance to higher levels. At first glance, you'd think this game's chicken. But as you play the game, you'll soon realize that the insects aren't there for nothing.

If there's a game that is loved by youngsters and adults then definitely it's Pac-Man. Remember the cute, yellow pop-pellet that eats Pac-dots, fruits, and sometimes ghosts? Now, it's back with a vengeance with dots to devour and ghosts to run after. First off, the Xbox 360 version of the game does not steer away from the 1980 most successful coin-operated game in history. It still has the same pellet-popping, ghost-chasing, and maze-running fun although there is an improvement with the images in the gameplay area.
The new game is enhanced with online leaderboards where you can keep track of your scores and check if you are still the best gamer addicted to Pac-Man. Aside from that you can also change the game's settings if you want to play the game with more lives or earn it easily. As usual, to earn points means to eat more fruits and ghosts as you can. To be able to enter the next level becomes a bit complicated because you still need to eat all the ghosts four times in a single stage, unlike the in the old version where you just have to swallow them once. All in all, the fun and excitement brought by the time-tested game is still unparalled.

The games spinners really know how to make us gamers happy and how to make their pockets thick with hard-earned profit and money. They know for a fact that we love games inspired by our favorite sports, like the FIFA Xbox console game which I think will be released this year right after the World Cup 2006 to be held in Germany. Aside from the international soccer game, we also have boxing, fishing, golf, baseball, football, cricket, and the ultra-boring billiards. I really don't know why they have to include billiards in Xboxes and I'm also not sure why they considered it as a sport since it's not as vigorous as basketball which is the hottest and best-selling game so far. Don't worry guys, I'm not going to lure you to read a long, sleep-inducing discussion about why I hate billiards today. First, I'm not in the condition to put into writing my angst towards the said, uh, sports. Second, this entry does not deal about billiards although I started the article with it, and third, and fourth, and fifth combined... writing a review on an Xbox billiard game is the easiest way to kill me than forcing me to drink cyanide. So I'd skip the billiards and murder thing and move towards a more exciting game that we guys never cease to love.
If you know what the Rock is cooking, and who let the dogs out, then definitely you'll know what the best game is next to NBA Superstars. Of course, I'm talking about the SmackDown! vs. Raw 2007 console game which will be hitting shop shelves perhaps this year. The interesting change in this game is that the grappling moves of the wrestlers give gamers unprecedented control unlike the previous wrestling games where moves are manipulated by button combinations. With the right analog stick, you can make stronger attacks to finish the enemy off, whoever that may be. The graphics, voice designs were also improved with more sweat and blood effects making the gameplay both gruesome and exciting. The crowd outside the ring now shrieks and screams as hard as their lungs will allow them as you pummel your enemy with metal chairs, canes, clutches, bats or even your tag team just to take hold of the much coveted crown. So if you guys are more than willing to have the real action game, let's wait for the official launching of the game and get ready to rumble.

The question on what will happen to a criminal when he is possessed by a darker, evil spirit is answered in this half-terrifying, half-exciting game in the Xbox game console. I think the Darkness which will be released soon will grab most of the gamers' attention since its unravels the mysterious past and even scarier future of the lead character Jackie Estacado who is suffering from an evil power possession when he reach his 21st birthday. Actually, we got a comic series with the same title and plot so if you've read the comic book, the game is just the translation of the words out into action.
What's exciting about this new game is that the evil had been affecting Jackie's entire family and now that it reach the youngest member the clan, a greater action and horrifying plot is at stake.
The game centers on how you as a gamer will master the devil inside you and at the same time battle the corrupt police authorities and the cruel, tyrant Franchetti family. The graphics and voice quality in this game makes you think you're watching an action movie instead of playing a game. Most of the scenes were set in New york City where crimes and violence are at its highest form despite the booming economy of the city. Oops, no offense to New Yorkers okay, that's just the way the game reflects our Big Apple.
Moving towards the game, you get to meet more criminals and members of the mafia in the city's slums and dingy hotels where most of the moving action scenes take place. What's interesting about this game is that, being possessed by a demon, you can summon your trusted Darklings, the game's version of evil little bastard gremlins who will attack any enemy that tries to get near you. One compelling scene is when policemen tried to raid the Estacado house, the tiny devils went on to put a hole on every body part of the vile authorities that they can reach through their drill. Whew, those killing scenes for a game are overly gory, brutal, morbid and surprisingly funny, really.

I'm just happy that Lara Croft is back in Xbox 360 games with a vengeance, still with her sexy personality and more bullets in her guns. I think it's been a very long time since the last Tomb Raider game was released, and now that we got the Legend to feast on, I think this would make Croft soar up to the best female game heroine on every gamers list again. I think there's no point arguing that all Tomb Raider games are the best in terms of the graphic designs, the game play, the sound effects, the musical scoring as well as the action packed scenes. Although some said that the game is bit difficult to master, I think that perhaps that is because the game spinners make it a bit complicated with more enemies and more adventures and mysteries to unfold, to get the real feel of rummaging though tombs, artifacts, and exotic lands while killing any vicious enemy that blocks you way. I also love the transformation done with her appearance because she's now red-haired like she belong to the Weasley family but she's more buff and athletic like her body language is seeking for more fight scenes. Aside from that, they made her a beautiful angel with a few strands on her hair on her face but a more brave angel I mean with the pistols strap on her waist.
If you happened to watch any of the X-men movie, I guess you'll find a resemblance between Lara and Mystique because both ladies can be very sophisticated and glamorous even if their under a massive attack of a hundred and one enemies. Perhaps guys who don't like feminist games will not appreciate this, but anyway, there are still a lot of wise gamers who will support this game. And did I mentioned that the game is more of like Smallville version of Tomb Raider, which I guess will give us a background while Lara's one bloody girl we don't want to mess with.

Xbox 360 games are better than the PS2, but this is no offense meant to those who can't afford to buy Xbox 360 machines. It's just that the game experience with it is superb like you're really the hero in the screen battling evil villains whose sole purpose in the story is to produce havoc and die in the end. Aside from that the you'll adore the craftsmanship of the game creators due to the special effects and aesthetic scenes and graphics like those I see in science fiction movies like the immortal Star Wars movies. More than that, the fight scenes, the characters and the plots are exciting enough that they made me think that tale spinners of these games should crossover to Hollywood and write screenplay for films. Although the price is high if you're going to buy a certain game, I think it will be worth your money especially if you buy a game that you really like. My friend told me that if I want to save more bucks on games that i like to purchase, I need to surf the net to canvass games so that I'll know their real price.
Amongst the new games that I like is Too Human by Microsoft and Silicon Knights which are role-playing, science fiction and action adventure game rolled into one exciting and adventurous treats for gamers like me. It's about the rage of the machines against humans and Baldur, a robot-like humanoid is the only hero available that can fight the mechanical monsters. I think the game is slated for release this year, I just hope they'll make it faster.

More and more latest Xbox games are introduced and made available in the market these days. Newest Xbox games vary from wholesome themes to gruesome ones. Later this month, another water-terror Xbox game will soon come out as "JAWS Unleashed" will finally surface.
In this game, you get to be the shark. Yep, you will play as the shark that causes terror in every living things in the water. Developed by the game designers of "Ecco" dolphin series, Jaws has variety of controls so you will be able to do a lot of shark actions and stuffs, in an environment of a vast ocean surrounding, of course. The main goal of the game is to survive and you will be able to do so by eating and destroying enemies using your giant, razor-sharp teeth. Like I said, the theme of the game is gruesome, for you will also be devouring humans by shaking them and ripping their heads off. Other sharks, on the other hand, are also your worst enemies since they will be smelling blood from your kill, they will surely find you and fight over your meal.
Now that you know the gameplay, its time to decide whether you'd be disgusted or thrilled by the thought of killing, destroying, and eating everything a shark considers as food. Word of advice: if you're not up to it, Jaws Unleashed is not for you. But if you enjoy the theme, this game is your kind of kill thrill.

Peanuts is an all time favorite comic strip enjoyed by kids and adults alike. Despite the new comic stories and adventures that continuously fill the shelves, Peanuts has always maintained its charm and popularity among its readers. It is one comic strip destined to stand the test of time.
With the immense popularity of Peanuts and its characters, it is no wonder then that there are many fun games themed after it. Today, there are numerous Snoopy games distributed. Yet the best is yet to come. Recently, Namco-Bandai developed a new Snoopy game adventure. Snoopy vs The Red Baron, which is the best Snoopy game so far, is an air combat specially made for kids.
As it is implicit in the title, Snoopy, must fight against the evil Red Baron. In one of the levels, the player must escort some trucks around an island. At the same time, he must destroy all enemies encountered. The game controls are simple: the triangle (speed), circle (air brakes), and X and Square shoots (weapons). Snoopy vs The Red Baron may not be the most graphically intensive adventure. Yet the colors are bright and vivid for players to enjoy.

Burnout 3 is one of those games that contain an extensive list of unlockables. To get the finer things in this game, you have to earn it. There are many conditions that you must fulfill to unlock the hidden cars, gold medals, trophies, signature takedowns, and even Crash Mode vehicles.
In Crash mode, you can use many other kinds of vehicle, not just your sports car. It seems like all the secrets in the game are presented to the players. The only catch is that players must meet the conditions.
Although the game made it quite obvious how to acquire hidden surprises, there are still a few things that will help you in the game that don't require any unlocking. One of these is the instant boost. It's not really a cheat, more like a technique. If you want your car to speed through your competitors, hold L and R during the 3-second countdown at the beginning of the race. Then, release L but continue pressing down R and hold it for another second. When the lights turn green, press and hold R to give your car an instant boost and leave the other cars eating your dust.

The King of Fighters is along the lines of games such as Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat in terms of popularity in the "versus" fighting genre. Unlike in previous King of Fighter games, the King of Fighters NeoWave exists out of the continuity of the KoF storyline. Thus, it contains no plot. It just about 43 characters put together to beat the hell out of each other to see who is the best. Every fan's favorite characters are included in the game, even the seven characters who weren't in the original arcade game.
There are three available modes in KoF NeoWave: the Super Cancel, Guard Break, and Max2 mode. When you play the Super Cancel, the players have the chance to cancel special moves into other special moves using the super meter. This way, you can make a combination of special moves which can cause massive damage to your opponent.
In the Guard Break mode, it makes use of the "Just Defend" technique where a player can block the opponent's attack at the last moment to get some advantage. Also while in this mode, a guard break move is available, making your super meter stock into an unstoppable attack. In Max2 mode, the super meter is constantly replenished and when the life bar reaches critical, a hidden super attack can be used by a player. A notable video feature of this game is the characters being presented in a 2-dimentional low-resolution sprite set in a 3D background.

It seems that movies that have massive effects on the American culture have transcended the virtual world of gaming as of late. There was the Godfather and now there's Scarface. The ultimate gangster, Tony Montana, is set to conquer the world of gaming as well in Scarface: The World is Yours.
If you think that you're gonna relive the movie masterpiece in your Xbox, think again! The developers of Scarface decided that instead of using the movie's plot as the storyline of the game, they wanted to create a sequel of sorts. Remember the final scene in the movie where the tough Cuban got iced? Well, in this game instead of being smoked with a chock full of lead, Montana miraculously escaped with his life and now, he's out for blood.
The gameplay is much like Grand Theft Auto, involve yourself in as much illegal activities as you can and take control of the city. You will be doing missions as Tony Montana and climb your way up to power once again. At first, you start with nothing but as you finish more missions, you earn money and eventually run things on a part of the city. What's Scarface without the violence and crime? Nothing! So to help you smoke the idiots who think they're tough enough to stand in Mr. Monatana's way, various weapons are available in the game. Equip yourself with handguns, shotguns, rifles and rocket launchers and create chaos on the streets and let your enemies know you mean business. As you progress, your status in the underworld of crime elevates and sooner of later, you will have numerous allies on your side.
Although Mr. Pacino's voice was not used in the game, he selected the guy who would do his character in the game himself. The voice talents in the game include actors such as James Woods, Mike Rappaport and even Cheech Marin.

Have you ever felt the urge to smash the car in front of you for being to slow on a day that you have a presentation or job interview? Have you ever wanted driving full speed on your sports car without a care in the world if you crash unto something? Sometimes I do, but I know if I did what I wanted I’d either end up dead or in a lot of trouble and a wrecked car to add insult to injury. Good thing Electronic Arts created Burnout, and has now released Burnout 3: Takedown!
Don’t think that this is anything like Gran Tourismo, because Burnout isn’t your ordinary racing game. The objective of this game is to not only win the race but have your opponents’ car destroyed by on coming traffic or by crashing into a building. What I really love in Burnout 3 is the Crash Mode. In this mode, you are sent in a busy intersection and cause as much damage as you possibly can! It’s not called Crash Mode for nothing. Another great feature in this game is the Aftertouch.
The Aftertouch lets you control your wreck by holding the A button after the initial impact. You can move the other vehicles; this allows you to get the icons that are scattered throughout the streets. Play this on a bad day and I’m sure you’ll feel a lot better.

Dynasty Warrior is the game that put Omega Force and Koie on the map and with their latest release, Dynasty Warrior 5, they will surely be among the leading companies this year. All Dynasty Warrior game is set in second century China amidst the war of the Three Kingdoms for superiority over the nation. This game features real historical references, so if you love exploring the rich history of China, you’d love this game. Another great thing about this game is that it also tells the story of the villains, instead of always focusing on the heroes.
Like every Dynasty Warrior game, you will find yourself whacking and slashing through countless enemies to reach your goal. Players have the option to choose from the three playing modes available in the game. The Musou mode is the main story mode. You will be given the chance to choose which of the 75 governments you want to fight for and which officer you want to use. You will also choose the bodyguard who will accompany your officer. In Free mode, you can select a particular level you want to play. The selection of levels will depend on how many you have completed on the Musou mode. The Challenge mode is a time trial where you have to finish the task in a given amount of time.
