Here are two of the most well-received Xbox games that were recently released.
Microsoft Xbox 360 Game: Darksiders
Darksiders could simply be described as an action-adventure video game, but it’s much more than that. As War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, you must clear your good name while investigating a corruption scandal that extends from Heaven to Hell. To do this, you fight numerous battles as well as solve a lot of intriguing puzzles. While the fighting system is not particularly complex, the puzzles are challenging enough to keep you interested, but not so much that players end up frustrated. A gripping storyline and intriguing characters make this a solid, entertaining game.
2010 Xbox 360 Game: Bayonetta
Just as fun and exciting as Hideki Kamiya’s previous creation, Devil May Cry, Bayonetta has already received critical acclaim from numerous reviewers. It features a battle system similar to Devil May Cry; however, the titular character’s overall look and abilities make this game more than a Devil May Cry rehash. Bayonetta’s unique attacks feature acrobatic moves, numerous weapons, and the ability to transform various body parts into agents of destruction. Aside from the lush character and background designs, one of the most hailed features of Bayonetta is the “Witch Time” feature. The correct move allows you to slow down time during a battle and get the character to perform numerous combo attacks.
These action-packed games will keep you busy for hours, as both feature elements that really extend their playability.

Recently, my friends and I went online to check the newest Xbox games. We found out that Xbox live arcade had released their newest game, Cloning Clyde last Wednesday. Cloning Clyde was created by the makers of Outpost Kaloki X for Xbox Live Arcade also. Even though I haven't personally played this game, I'm looking forward to playing it. I've heard from my cousin, who is an expert Xbox player that Cloning Clyde is more dynamic and challenging as it presents great and fun adventures for the players. As soon as I have money, I'll avail this game. It's a must have for Xbox players.
Monday, May 7. 2007
Cloning Clyde has lots of features that will leave it's players in awe. Based from the review, I've read in my friend's wireless internet computer, the players can play the role of Clyde and other mutated creatures in the game. In fact, the players can even make their own clyde clones and receive clyde animations and antics. You can also enjoy the newest live Xbox updates and features. You and three of your friends can play this all together via Xbox live. You get to experience pictures, more puzzle and mace games using cloning clyde. You also have a six versus mode additionals that add more fun and excitement to the game.

The latest creation of Wahoo Studios/NinjaBee, Cloning Clyde is an easy game. You just have to pass difficult maces, solve mental challenging puzzles, battle your nemesis and escape Clydeis from Duplicone. Clydeis is an experiment for cloning which had gone wrong. Now, it's up to the players as Clyde or mutant creatures to save and free Clydeis. This reminds me of the conflict between Lebanon and Israel, which began with a simple misunderstanding or miscommunication. Just like the experiment gone wrong in this game, a little gap between these two nations had caused a lot of casualties. I wish there's someone like Clyde to save them.

July will see a barrage of new Xbox 360 game releases and one of the games that will finally see the Xbox 360 hard drive is "Prey". Coming out on July 5, Prey is developed and released by Venom Games and 2K Games, respectively. The game is a combination of mysticism and UFO fanaticism.
The game's plot is centered on Tommy. He is a Cherokee mechanic whose birthright powers are released when he and his tribe are abducted by an alien mothership. The weird combination of Cherokee myth and the high tech appeal of having an alien ship in orbit does prove to be an unexpected combo.
But the game's plot is far from perfect. Guess what gives our superhero the strength to fight all those aliens and other enemies? Love! Whooppeeee! I'm sure none of you gamers expected that. Of course, the ever-present themes of responsibility and sacrifice are all there, so moralizing freaks don't have anything to be sad about.
However, the game graphics and audio quality are not as perfect as I expected it to be. Screenshots show no better graphics than those that can be seen in cheaper consoles. Trailers also provide disappointing sound quality. Maybe the developers are hoping that the extraordinary plot line will be enough to carry the game. I don't know if it's the Xbox's fault why the game appeared that way, but it works well with others. So I guess it really is the game's fault. Anyway, experience it for yourself this coming July.

When having conversations about racing, I always remember movies about it, something that I am fond of watching, just like in computer games or Xbox-360. I am excited each time I learn about a new invention so I thought, why not bring the experience inside my house where I feel most comfortable, right? That's where I started to research about racing games.
For someone who is a big fan of car racing, well, here is something for you -- the Need For Speed: Carbon. That is the name given for the NFS evolution. What is new about this gaming technology? Well, more challenges and exciting car features. How would you like to see yourself cruising down a street full of tests and adventure with the car you love.
This is the game about brain and skill. This is also about thinking about strategies on how you can beat your opponent and creating tricks to outwit the challenges that come with every race. You would feel your heart pumping as you go through the challenges and try to accomplish every single track.
The race continues as NFS: Carbon, delivered by its makers from Columbia, hit the stores this November 2006. This is something to look forward to as for racing game fanatics would embark on a new sport game experience. So put on your racing outfit and gear up for some Need For Speed action.

Even though Superman Returns has not hit the theaters yet, gamers like me will surely be delighted that our most beloved superhero is returning not only in the movie screens but also in video games. Yes, your eyes are not deceiving you folks, Electronic Arts is creating a game derived from the fantasy hero flick which is soon to make waves in cinemas. But what surprises me is that the studio developer of the game is the same which gave us Madden. Although, Superman is another hero-inspired, crime-busting play, I think there are some factor that will definitely take players to the Kryptonite planet.
First is that the image and voice talents that will be use in the game are the same stars portraying the characters in the movie. In the game, you'll get the opportunity to experience roaming above and beyond the Metropolis City which stretches up to eighty square miles. And just like the TV show Smallville and the movie of course, you are sure to get the same Superman feeling with the superb art direction, musical scoring and craftsmanship.
Just like Superman, your exciting gaming experience will be as fast as a speeding bullet and as swift as a bird where you have to finish fifty difficult jobs which include saving a crowd from a falling bridge. Of course, his other capabilities like super strength and laser vision will be manifested in the game. The Superman game for Xbox and Playstation is scheduled to be launch on June 26 this year.

In line with the release of X-Men: The Last Stand, the last chapter in the X-Men movie trilogy, is the release of its video game version. X-Men: The Official Game is set got release on the 16th of May while the movie hits theaters a week after. One of the most popular games in the PC is the first-person shooting game by Dreamcatcher, Painkiller. Set to be released in April 25, 2006 in the Xbox is Painkiller: Hell Wars. This game is the combination of the original Painkiller game and the game's expansion, Battle Out of Hell.
The game offers fantastic visuals and action-packed gameplay. In the game, you will play the soul of a dead guy who is in the purgatory. You will discover that hell is plotting an invasion in the afterlife. Being the only spirit that has any concern for the afterlife, you will be plunged into hell to destroy the generals of the guy down under, Satan, himself. To help you complete your mission, a wide range of weapons will be at your disposal. Blast enemies with your shotgun and shoot them down with your rocket launcher and cut them to pieces with the game's signature weapon, the Painkiller.
You will be facing an army of demons, vampires and other creatures of the occult as you go deeper in the levels of hell. Dan Brown became a household name because of his controversial novel, the "Da Vinci Code." Everyone I know has either read it, or is about to read it, and I'd even hear people talking about it while I was riding a train home. The novel became a fad. Heck, I know some high-school kids who only read the book because they don't want to be left out in conversations. You know how kids are, popularity is a must for them. Brown's novel was so popular that it was reported that a movie will be made after it.
The Da Vinci Code is also set to transcend the gaming world. The Collective is currently developing the game, which will be based on the movie, which in turn is based for the book. Not much is known about the details of the game, but those who've read Dan Brown's novel might have a slight idea what the game will be all about.
The Da Vinci Code is set to be released the same date the movie will hit the cinema, which is on May 19, 2006. I never really understood what the big deal with the Da Vinci Code is because I didn't read the book. My interest for it died because everywhere I go, I'd hear some random person mention it to his or her friend. However, once the game is released and it sparks my interest, I might just pick up a copy of the insanely popular novel.

Starcraft was created by Blizzard in the late 90’s and became one of the most popular computer games. Starcraft is a sci-fi strategy game that involves three alien races: the Terrans (humans), the spiritual Protoss, and the nefarious Zerg. Now, Blizzard is about to release their latest game in the XBOX, Starcraft Ghost. It’s an innovation of the old Starcraft game; you can still recognize such units and the Hydralisk and the Zealots but they are presented differently.
The main character, and the one you’ll be controlling, of the game is actually a Ghost operative named Nova. She is sent on different missions, from spying, assassination to wiping out an entire alien bloc. Nova will be accompanied by a certain group of soldiers that are able to do specific tasks, but there are levels that she must finish by herself. To help Nova accomplish her tasks, her team will be given a different sorts of very high-powered firearms and explosives. Set in the 3D environment, Starcraft Ghost is not your regular blast-the-aliens type of game, it also involves stealth. If you’re familiar with the PC game, you’ll remember that Ghost units are highly-trained psychics; Nova can use psionic attacks on enemy units to disable them. Starcraft Ghost is scheduled to be released on May 31, 2006.

The Teen Titans is the junior version of DC Universe’s Justice League of America. Led by none other than Batman’s sidekick, Robin the Boy Wonder, this group of young heroes answers the call of justice. It is a popular comic book and has been made into an animated series. With their increasing popularity, the Teen Titans are set to transcend into the video gaming world. Majesco has developed a game based on the Teen Titan series that is scheduled to be released in April 26, 2006 in the Xbox console.
In the game you have the chance to cast out on an adventure using any member of the team. Join Starfire, Robin, Beast Boy, Cyborg, and Raven rid the city of crime and put villainous criminals such as Slade, Overload, Jinx, Gizmo and Mammoth behind bars. Players get to pick which characters to use for different levels, although in some parts of the game certain characters are unavailable. Each hero has their own unique set of skills and statistics. For example, a brute like Cyborg may be strong but he is considerably slow compared to the agile Robin. Fans of the comic book, especially the animated series, will enjoy playing this game.
