Microsoft Xbox customer reps should thank me for being a nice dude who likes to tinker with the consoles when they show signs of faltering. As of the moment though, I can't think of anything nice to say, since I'm stumped in a couple of consoles with two sticky problems: one has a red light flashing on the ring of light, and the other has a frozen screen.
Microsoft Xbox technical support tells me that there must be something wrong with either the hard disk or the MU. The latter problem may also be caused by overheating, who knows.
