A Dose of His Own MedicineMy cousin always tells me that he's better than me when it comes to playing
any computer game. Yeah, I admit that he's a good player compared to me. But he doesn't have to tell that to everyone. He sounds so braggy and its annoying me. I told myself, maybe I should teach him a lesson so that he can realize that he should not brag about his skill in playing online games primarily because he has not proven anything yet. I think of ways to do it, but I always fell short. Then came an idea from best friend who is studying in Paris for two years now. Back then, he was my buddy who always protect from those bullies in school. Since he was having his vacation here, I asked him for some tips on playing computer games. I know he's a great player and maybe he can teach me some of those.
He lend me his magazines and other guides in playing online games. I told him that I want to teach my cousin a lesson, and this is the only way that I can do that. He taught me a lot of things, different techniques, strategies, and tips to win the game. But he emphasized more on my mindset. According to him, I should be focused when I am playing. Destruction is a no-no, of course. We also played some games so that I can learn more. Now, I am all set for a duel with my cousin. Well, this is not about pride anymore. I'm playing because I want to prove him that he's beatable. I am not angry with my cousin, I just want to give him a dose of his
own medicine.
